Beth Logan
Beth Logan is a native of Portrush, Northern Ireland who emigrated to the United States following university in Belfast. Married to Savannahian Steve Ellis, they share two daughters and three of the most gorgeous grandchildren on the planet.
After a decade in San Francisco, Beth moved to Savannah in the early 1990’s and built a career as a recruiter for Memorial Health, and later as the marketing and volunteer services director for Hospice Savannah. During her tenure with the nonprofit hospice, she ran an art gallery in the inpatient unit, attracting hundreds of Savannahians to art receptions for a plethora of local artists.
Today, Beth is an advocate for art and artists through her work on the board of nonprofit Arts Southeast, and through her art columns for local publications. She is a regular participant in the Telfair Museum’s studio club, painting both still life ad plein air; her preferred medium is oil.
Beth is a past member of City Market’s Signature Gallery, has shown at the Telfair Art Show, with the Landings Art Association, and at the Isle of Hope Art & Music Festival. She is delighted to be a member of The Downstairs Gallery and is happy to meet patrons there at any time. Look for her to be there most Thursdays!
